Why going on a retreat?
Going away anywhere helps to shift your perspective so you can see your life at home more clearly. You will find yourself in a calm and save environment, with time to reflect, to focus on yourself, to breathe and meditate; and to connect and share with like-minded people.
If you are a beginner or experienced yogi who wants to learn more and deepen its practice, a yoga retreat can benefit your mindset very powerfully. With daily practices to uplift your energy, freshly and healthy prepared meals, togetherness and all that out of your usual environment.
find the space to open up and grow
During a yoga retreat with me, you will experience a daily practice of asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing techniques) and meditation (techniques to find focus and concentration). Depending on the retreat, we will hold ceremonies and sharing circles, sing and dance together, share our experiences.
time & space to sharpen your own mindfulness and perception, reduce stress and establish a deeper connection with yourself
Your private retreat
On request, I design private retreats for one person, couples, small groups of friends, families or colleagues (team events & workshops).
You have a specific topic and goal you wanna focus on? Or you are limited in time, didn’t find the right group retreat that fits your schedule or you have a specific place in mind, where you wanna re-treat yourself? Then a privately held and individually onto your needs designed retreat might be for you.
But why considering to book a private or solo retreat?
There certainly are many benefits in a tailor-made private retreat: escaping from the ever more urgent demands and digital overwhelm of everyday life, spending a few days on your own, focusing on your own needs, taking activities at my own pace and in my own time, with one-on-one attention from the retreat facilitator.
To prevent/ recover from burnout: a solo retreat offers you the privacy to gain deeper insights into yourself, your values and your purpose in life. Spending time alone, away from any distractions and demands of every day life can empower you to identify clearly with your strengths & weaknesses and to adjust your lifestyle to avoid bouncing back from burnout.
To process overwhelm: if you are about to make a important decision in your life but feeling overwhelmed by the multitude of decisions and options to decide you are facing every day in your personal and professional life, then a solo retreat provides a secure and calm environment, where to find clarity and confidence to make your next big decision.
To deal with past traumas, grief or emotional injury in a safe and supportive space. A private retreat enable you to confront your emotions, to process difficult experiences and begin the journey towards healing and wholeness (purna).
To get unstuck & unleash your creativity. Find time and space to reflect on your past experiences, helping you find inner peace, serenity and maybe even rediscover your sense of awe and adventure. Often you will find yourself reigniting the spark of inspiration that may have dimmed in the hustle & bustle of daily life and while being stuck in it.
Rest is important to open up space for reflection, give yourself time to absorb what you’ve learnt in practice while sit quietly with yourself. A solo retreat vacation gives you a chance to rest properly and most likely (and if you are open for it) will teach you how to access that relaxation at home as well.
