Yoga is not about the shape of your body, but about the shape of your life. Yoga is to be lived. Yoga does not care about who you have been; yoga cares about the person you want to become. And to get there, yoga offers many healing tools which support you on your journey towards your new YOU.

Whether online or in person, I will create a protected and private space for our sessions, which will allow you to freely explore your personal dreams, goals and visions. I will create moments in which you can completely let go and breathe deeply again. You will find an atmosphere in which you can work on yourself, learn to grow & expand, value your self-esteem again; feel comfortable, held and seen.

Yoga therapy also offers you healing care for complex illnesses, active and conscious support of the body’s self-healing powers, as well as mental strengthening in times of crisis.

What to imagine yoga therapy to be?

Yoga therapy is not a classic talk therapy. The focus here is on how something has manifested itself physically and how this has achieved a change on another level through the body. You maybe have already reflected a lot in other therapies, but notice that certain switches do not want to move any further; switches that can sometimes only be switched through the body. Our body is a reflection of our subconscious. So when we work with the body, we inevitably find access to subconscious patterns via neural communication and can thus initiate sustainable change processes on a mental and emotional level.

While working together, I will offer you a variety of yoga tools and principles that will enable you to break through these subconscious patterns and increasingly feel your own strength, energy and self-efficacy again. Being able to feel yourself again brings you back into harmony with your personal emotional, mental and physical needs. These “tools” can include (but are not limited to): postures & exercises (asanas), breathing exercises (pranayama), meditation (guided imagination or visualization) and relaxation exercises such as somatic movement.

First of all, we get to know each other 🙂 Send me an email or leave me your contacts and we will arrange an appointment for a phone or video call and an initial exchange. You can tell me more about yourself, your situation and motivation for a change. And I can tell you a bit about myself and the way I work, answer any questions you may have. After our first get-to-know each other, I would create a concept and schedule tailored to you. And if you are fine with that and agree, we will start the journey. In person or online – both options are possible.
