Meet Rebecca

Yoga Teacher. Life Coach. Friend

Hey, I am Rebecca

and I am happy our pathes are crossing here and today.

My life has been and continues to be characterized by constant movement and change. What is a comfort zone for most people seems restrictive and boring to me – so I have constantly changed my job and therefore also my housing. I was often misunderstood and labeled as “unstable”, “aimless” or “always being on the run”. Today I know that it is not restlessness that drives me, but a constant curiosity about life.

That curiosity has taught me a lot about life and helped me figure how I wanna create life for me. On that path, Yoga has taught me to develop strength and trust in myself and the universe.

And so yoga developed to be THE constant component in my life: the yoga mat became my home.

let me show you the therapeutic power of yoga & how you can take it with you into your everyday life

I would love to pass on my experiences with yoga to you.

My yoga classes combine gentle, alignment-based flows, connecting breathing and movement. So that you can make the yoga practice your own, I will always offer you options and variations.

Adapted to the topic of the class, I like to work with mantras, mudras, affirmations and various pranayama (breathing) techniques. It’s about softening the hard edges, listening to your own body, connecting with your own breath, awakening your unique mind and becoming aware of it.

My teaching style is powerful and demanding, at the same time caring, mindful and understanding; authentic, clear, precise and well thought out, with enough room for fun and joy.

Got curious? If you feel like this could be a good match, let us connect via a first video or phone call. Leave me a message

>>> Moving with grace. Not only through my yoga practice but through life <<<

“I like to see life in all is aspects as a dance. We move, following the rhythm of music. Sometimes we move slow, another time fast. In between we pause in stillness. We may fall and get up to continue. We change partners or even dance alone for a while. Important: listen, feel and follow the rhythm. Make it your dance.”

The same way we will work together – make it your practice, your dance, your life.

MORE FACTS

  • In 2008 I found my way onto the mat for the first time and have practiced and studied a wide variety of yoga styles since then. The diversity of yoga is most likely what fascinates me and has kept me stuck to this way of life for years. Even today it continues to surprise and captivate me with new aspects and facets. Yoga opened up a world (of tools, wisdom and exercises) to me that offered me what I needed at that moment in every phase of life and situation.
  • In 2018 I completed my 200-hour basic training, followed by a 300-hour training in Guatemala with a focus on shamanic rituals, ceremonies, plant and herbal medicine. • Since 2018 I have been teaching the yoga styles Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin and Aerial. Since I continue to travel around the world regularly, I teach temporarily in resorts, retreat centers and studios, and hold retreats, workshops and ceremonies.
  • I am a very dynamic person, which led me to work early on and to positions of responsibility. I lived in big cities for many years, worked at management level in companies, and moved for a long time in two worlds, namely between giving up on my job & functioning and self-love & understanding what life actually means to me. Until it was too much and I knew: I have to leave one world behind me as best I can. Due to my own experience and my empathetic nature, I work as a coach & yoga therapist. I am asked by private individuals for 1:1 or family retreats, and booked by companies for small group coaching. “Rebecca facilitates with a strong energy and passion for the practice which supports her compassionate, graceful and empathic nature. She has an innate ability to take in knowledge, experience it, and share wisdom in an authentic way.”
  • Being a student for ever, Rebecca continues to study yoga on and off the mat and is inspired by the wisdom of the body to heal itself. She enjoys medicinal movement such as dance and somatic movements along with other interests that include Ayurveda, Shamanism, Essential Oil Therapy, Herbalism, Energy Healing, the Chakra System and Anatomy. Her classes are a fusion of these passions bringing alive the ancient teachings of Yoga in a modern and accessible way.
